Seeking a way to make fair housing education less a classroom experience and more a fun collegial event, the REALTOR® Association of Central Massachusetts hosted a Fair Housing trivia night at a nearby brewery for members and colleagues from the local NAHREP chapter. The content prompted much discussion and engagement, and by the time the scores were tallied at the end of the evening, even the winning team had learned a thing or two about fair housing.

There was no question that the wastewater infrastructure of Yarmouth, Massachusetts was overdue to be replaced, but the local REALTORS took no chances when a major plan that was years in the making was put to a final vote. A campaign supported by an Issues Mobilization grant from the REALTOR Party reminded voters how important the new system was to the environment, the residents, and to the peninsula’s tourist economy.

Training Members to Resolve Housing Disputes Through Mediation, Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Promotes Housing Stability

As the threat of mass evictions loomed during the pandemic, the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® equipped members throughout the commonwealth to step up and help mediate housing disputes. Grants from the REALTOR® Party supported training and a campaign to raise public awareness about the benefits of choosing mediation over court appearances.
